About Me
I consider myself to be down to earth and friendly with an appreciation for humor and wit. I LOVE a good conversation on current events, politics, the faith (of course!), history, philosophy, sports and many other topics. There's nothing better than spending time with someone where the conversation is edifying, fun and flows naturally! I like to keep fit, appreciate most types of movies but especially action thrillers and period/historical-based films, occasionally listen to conservative talk radio, mainly Laura Ingraham, and have been known to tune into sports talk radio because I find it entertaining :-). Temperamentally speaking, I am a melancholic/choleric, an accurate but general description (since we're all complex!). Over 10 years ago I began attending the traditional Latin Mass on Sundays, and now it's easily the highlight of my week. The reverence and palpable sense of the sacred keep me coming back. I have found my connection – at least when it comes to the liturgy :-).
As far as my family, my siblings and I were raised by amazing parents who were married 45 years. My father has since passed away, but left an example of courage, kindness, intellectual strength and a strong devotion to the Truth of the faith, an example I can only try to follow. To date, I have 2 nieces and 5 nephews and I have the best time being around them. Their joy is infectious, and they have confirmed my hope for a family of my own. In the meantime, I'll be patient and continue to pray that God will lead me to the right gentleman - my husband!
