4 Days/3 Nights
Theme - "Vocation: Available and Ready To Act"
Join
us in the beautiful grounds of Malvern Retreat House in Malvern, PA (just outside of Philadelphia) for a life-changing weekend filled with teaching, prayer, fun and socialization.
Our Retreats for Singles are Unique
Some might say this sounds more like a conference than a retreat. Well, it is definitely first and foremost a retreat, which means an opportunity to take time to get radically closer to God. It is also a retreat with a socialization component. You get all the traditional spiritual elements of a retreat (daily Mass, formation talks, private Eucharistic Adoration, spiritual direction, time for Confessions, etc.). But you also get a lot of free time and unique opportunities to socialize with and get to know the other single Catholics in attendance. An AMS retreat is an experience like no other, and one you MUST take part in to appreciate.
So don't miss this unique opportunity to share a long weekend with other single Catholics to learn, socialize, and grow in faith.
Retreat Talks
Our speakers will focus on presenting to Catholic men and women how to have a better understanding of their vocation to marriage when it comes to being “available” and being ready to “act” on this vocation. It’s one thing to decide that we want to be married. It is an entirely different thing to be doing what is necessary to become a married person. Are you as open and available as you should be? What should we be doing? This retreat will help answer these questions.
Speakers:
Anthony Buono, founder of "Ave Maria Singles" and "Road To Cana"
Rev. Edward B. Connolly, parish priest in the diocese of Allentown, PA, and co-host of the "Road To Cana" TV series.
Mark Houck, and Damian Wargo, co-founders of "The Kings Men", an apostolate with an outreach to Catholic men.
Ann Hanincik, Leader of Marriage Preparation for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
